I may or may not have spend all the time necessary to reorganize the pictures in my Facebook album back into chronological order, because Facebook thought it would be HILARIOUS to jumble them all up.
So…… I just want to know. If you’re going to make this freaking thing, WHY couldn’t you have brought back VMK, as a Facebook game? What the actual piss.
And when I saw it I refrained myself from commenting on it. I don’t like getting into anything on Facebook. I just like to look at my notifications and leave, and I had thought that I was only subscribed to the people I actually care about, but apparently I missed one.
Anyway, this morning I just couldn’t resist myself anymore, so I went to his profile, but he had deleted the status. Which is good. But, if he hadn’t I would have said something like:
Right, but, “that Kony guy” isn’t just a guy. I’m just a guy, and you’re just a guy, but he’s responsible for the death, kidnapping, and slavery of thousands upon thousands of children and young people. And, indirectly, he’s responsible for the murder of many of those children’s parents and families. To shrug him off as just “a guy” because he’s so far away isn’t only just plain stupid, but morally irresponsible. You don’t have to be near or in Africa or any distant part of the World or Universe to have an affect on it, and it an affect on you. It’s like saying “Oh, don’t worry, our water and air and ground pollution doesn’t affect the ocean, we’re far too far from it.” This is, of course, false. Moreover, you say that America wont’ get involved because it has no benefit for the country. So, in other words, you’re implying that we live in a selfish nation, then, yes? Because hey, we got rid of Adolf Hitler, Saddam Hussein, and Osama Bin Laden because they posed a threat to US. Never mind the hundreds of thousands of deaths they caused around them and away from us. We don’t care about that until someone in our uniform gets hurt, right? Now I’m not saying that this rationale that America carries is your fault, but your using it as justification to tell those who don’t have a moral deficiency to stop their raising awareness and getting involved is again, stupid, arrogant, and uneducated. How about looking out for our fellow man, and promoting worldwide peace, stability, freedom, and love for a benefit, eh? How about doing our part to allow others less fortunate around the World enjoy the comfortable lifestyles with which we’re blessed? It says there on your Facebook information that you’re a Catholic Christian, like myself. Well, I’m not sure what Bible you’ve been reading or what church you go to, but it doesn’t seem very God-like to choose not to get involved and make a change for the betterment of the people and the World just because it isn’t weighing you down personally, does it? I mean, heck, what did Jesus get out of giving his life up on the Cross for all of us? Not too much. But he did it. He didn’t choose to shrug off all of the sin and misbehavior and heresy going on around him and say “Well, at the end of the day, I’m Jesus, so this crap doesn’t affect me. And hey, die on a cross for these guys? Why, God? I don’t get anything out of this.” If all Christians’ aspiration is to live more God-like and close to the Father, in my opinion, you’re doing it wrong.
I find it extremely curious that you openly leave in your information that you’re a devout Christian, you post Bible passages and pictures and videos onto your timeline, and you also openly talk about your involvement in the military, and yet you seem to lack the moral responsibility and awareness that I would hope someone like you would have.
Personally, I will continue to raise awareness, donate, volunteer, and get involved in any way I can until “that Kony guy” is put to justice. Not because I get any sort of thing out of it, but because it’s the human thing to do.
GUYS. Okay SO.
I started this collab YouTube channel with some friends.
And it’ll basically going to be about anything and everything under the sun.
Rants, discussions, lots of Disney (from me and Natalie mostly, probably xD), and just various talking points. It should be rather humorous/entertaining…. Should be.
ANYWAY.
You should “like” the Facebook page, and/or follow the Twitter, and and/or or subscribe to the Channel! And and and/or or or “like” or reblog this post!
You know I appreciate every one of the followers I have, and if you didn’t know, I’m telling you now!
Thanks so crazy much guys and gals! Have a Magical day!
